What is the legal age to purchase and consume cannabis?
In British Columbia, the legal minimum age to purchase and use cannabis is 19. It is illegal to purchase cannabis for anyone under the age of 19. 
In Canada, the legal age to buy and consume cannabis varies from province to province. 18+ Alberta & Quebec, 19+ all other provinces & territories.

What ID  is needed to enter your store and purchase cannabis?
We require two forms of ID  - one government-issued, photo ID and a secondary ID with your name and signature and/or picture on it. Team Crossroads appreciates your understanding and kindness when checking ID. Following the regulations ensures we remain open to serve you. :)

Can I bring my underage child into BC Cannabis Stores?
No, unlike BC Liquor Stores, you may not bring anyone under the age of 19 into provincially licensed cannabis stores.

What role does the BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch play in the sale of cannabis?
The LCRB is the sole, wholesale distributor of non-medical cannabis for the province. All licensed cannabis retail stores must purchase their cannabis and cannabis products directly through the LCRB. 

Where/how can I buy cannabis? 
Municipalities in BC control whether or not cannabis stores can open in their jurisdiction. The only legal place to buy cannabis is from a licensed cannabis store or government cannabis store.
You can buy cannabis from Crossroads Cannabis in store from one of our knowledgeable, friendly Budtenders  or by using our Click and Collect system - use one of our tablets to browse the products and make your selection, then pay for and collect your order at the front counter. 
Alternatively, you can order and securely pay online for instore or curbside pickup.

I am a licensed medical cannabis user. Can I buy my cannabis at Crossroads Cannabis?
Yes, however it will not carry with it the exemptions from rules around possession, use, etc. that cannabis purchased from a licensed producer under a medical authorization would.

What forms of payment do you accept?
In store we accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and of course Cash. For online orders we accept Visa, MasterCard,and American Express.

How much cannabis can I purchase in one transaction?
You may purchase up to 30 grams of dried cannabis or the equivalent in edibles, oils, capsules, or seeds.  We understand this may be frustrating for some consumers and ask for your cooperation when purchasing from our Crossroads team members.  Our point of sale system does the calculation automatically both online and in person so no need to worry, our Budtenders will let you know if you come close to the limit.  

What is the equivalency for products other than dried cannabis?
The 30 gram possession limit in the Cannabis Act are based on dried cannabis. Equivalents were developed for other cannabis products to identify what their possession limit would be. 

One (1) gram of dried cannabis is equivalent to:

  • 5 grams of fresh cannabis
  • 15 grams of edible product
  • 70 grams of liquid product (such as tinctures)
  • 0.25 grams of concentrates (liquid OR solid)
  • 1 cannabis seed


How much can individuals possess?
According to the Federal Cannabis Act, an individual may possess, in a public place, cannabis of one or more classes (dried flower, pre-rolls, oils, capsules, seeds) equivalent to 30 g of dried cannabis. There is a possession limit of 1000 g or equivalent in a private place.

Can I travel with cannabis I buy at Crossroads Cannabis?
You may travel within the province of BC with a maximum of 30 grams of dried cannabis or the equivalent in oils, capsules or seeds, however you may not use any cannabis products in any vehicles, whether they are moving or parked. It’s illegal to transport cannabis across the Canadian border. Cannabis laws are different between provinces and territories. This includes legal age, where you can smoke, use, and buy cannabis. Make sure to learn the laws before you travel.

Never transport cannabis over international borders.

What is the product return policy?

Cannabis:
According to provincial regulation around cannabis sales, all cannabis purchases are considered final sales, except when the product is damaged/defective (expired, mouldy, or damaged in transit) or recalled. 
With the exception of recalls, returns must be requested within seven (7) days of the purchase date with the product, your receipt and the original product packaging. A refund will be made to the original method of payment.  
If the BCLDB offers a recall for a product you have recently purchased at Crossroads Cannabis, you can return any unused products to the store.

Accessories:
For purchases at Crossroads Cannabis, Accessory returns will be accepted within 7 days of purchase with your receipt. The product must be in its original packaging. Refunds will be in the form of store credit. 
Some Accessories may have a warranty with the manufacturer. We recommend you hang on to your receipt and email them or contact them through their website/social media to determine the next steps. There are no warranties for glass products.
